ACP Training FAQ
The full meaning of ACP is Agile Certified Practitioner, the certification is provided by Project Management Institute (PMI). The PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) formally recognizes your knowledge of agile principles and your skill with agile techniques.
Enroll in DexNova Consulting’s value driven PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner training (Classroom or online) to satisfy the required contact hours of education requirement. Our training format covers the entire landscape for the PMI-ACP exam with case studies, assessments, practice questions and faculty support in difficult areas while you prepare for your exam.

Yes, DexNova Consulting’s PMI-ACP exam prep course satisfies the 21 contact hours required to sit for the PMI-ACP ® exam. At the end of the training, you will receive your certificate of completion showing the contact hours achieved. This can also be used if you are selected for audit during application.
Our PMI-ACP course fee does not include the professional exam fee. You will have to register for the exam and pay separately for that when you are ready. All Exam payments are sent directly to PMI
Our interactive PMI-ACP® virtual live sessions will be delivered via Zoom. You will also have access to our learning management system for resources and support during and after the training. Login details for the session will be sent to you via email before the class
ACP Exam and Certification
The PMI-ACP certification exam has 4 main requirements;
- You must have a secondary degree
- Attend 21 contact hours of training in agile practices (Dexnova Consulting’s course satisfies this)
- Have at least 12 months of general project experience within the last 5 years. A current PMP® or PgMP® will satisfy this requirement but is not required to apply for the PMI-ACP.
- Have at least 8 months of agile project experience within the last 3 years
Application:
once you have met the requirements you can submit an application for your PMI-ACP exam through the PMI website.
The PMI-ACP Certification exam tests your knowledge with 120 multiple choice questions to be completed in three hours.
PMI-ACP exam fee is US$435 for PMI Members and US$495.00 for Non-Members.
Payment should be made directly to PMI after your application has been approved for the exam
PMI doesn’t provide the specific passing score the PMI-ACP certification. However, one must aim at scoring at least 75% minimum using our mock exam covering all the domains while preparing for the exam.
The PMI-ACP Certificate, like other PMI Certifications (except CAPM) is maintained by gaining and recording Professional Development Units (PDUs). You need to record 30 PDUs according the PMI Talent Triangle every three years and pay a renewal fee.
